A recent CTBA "white paper" that provides a laundry list of short-term fiscal fixes to help balance the budget. Included among the topics are ideas on reforming the Illinois tax system such as repealing corporate tax loopholes and fixing the “pick-up” tax by decoupling it from Federal estate tax. Also includes estimate of annual savings to the state if the proposed reforms are enacted.
